We took a day and went to Newport Beach to go on a little Whale Watching tour. Unfortunately, we didn't see any Whales but we did see some dolphins, Sea Lions, and Otters. It was a nice ride on the boat and fun to just relax a bit. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was gorgeous. There are so many EXPENSIVE homes there.

Sea Lions
They would sit on the bouy and bark out at everyone. It was fun to watch but we were told they are very aggressive and are problematic to the fisherman. I wondered if they were trying to be protective of the babies. Look close and you can see them.
The otters lay on their backs and put their fins in the air. They do this because the sun warms the fins and then blood circulates warmth throughout their body.
Dolphins. There were about 75 dolphins in this area and some of them were babies. Soo cute! They were really fun to watch.
