A Fish Story...

You would NOT believe the huge fish that Chon and the kids caught when they went fishing. It was so heavy it took all of them to reel it it! Ok, that's the fish story, now here's the real one... Chon has been wanting to take the kids fishing for a while now and finally had the chance. They went up to Lost Creek and had a great time; however, there were no fish to be caught that day. It was a bummer for them but they really did have fun (and it game me some time to spend with Cannon and get a few things done at home).

Cute Conlie getting ready to go

I think Conlie had fun but it's a bit hard to tell in this picture

Looks like a Natural!

Cambrie just catchin' a few rays

How does it go? A bad day fishing is better than a great day at school. Right kids?

Who really needs to catch a fish when you look this good just trying?

Bear Lake

Chon's brother, Chun, invited us to come up and stay at his cabin that he has spend the last 3 years building. It was Gorgeous! He has worked so hard and it has payed off because they have a very nice "2nd home". We had such a blast for our last summer hoorah before school starts. We are grateful he and his wife were so gracious to let us enjoy it! Bear Lake is probably one of our favorite places to be. We have so many fun memories there over the years.

This was the sunrise the day we came home. It was so beautiful to wake up to. Who wouldn't want to spend time there?

Conlie and Cambrie enjoying the view from the deck.

Chon had to put in a little "sweat equity" to earn our keep

This is part of the cabin...it is so beautiful!

Silly Boy

Four-wheeling. The kids LOVED this part. It was probably the most fun part of the trip for them.

I don't even know what to say about this one. Conlie is just such a silly girl!

Cute kids just enjoying the beach

Cambrie had the best time searching for shells. She was quite fascinated with them

"Peace Out"

Fun on the Jet Ski

Conlie relaxing in the floatie

No Choi-Family vacation is complete without a good competetive game of Horseshoes.

"This is going to be sooo good"

Yes, it was delicious as a matter of fact... see no evidence left (except for the little crumbs left on my chinny chin chin)

This was all just a bit too much for Cannon..he had to take a little snoozer

Pioneer Day BBQ

Mindi and Matt had a BBQ at their house to celebrate Pioneer Day (thanks for entertaining my family while I was at work). I missed out on the fun but it looks like they had a great time!

Matt, Cannon, and Grandpa

Isn't this supposed to be fun?

Cambrie and Londyn..look at those cute smiles!

Day at the Gateway

Chon had the day off work so we decided to have a fun family outing. We took the Frontrunner train to the Gateway in SLC and did a little shopping and played in the fountains.

We got to the Frontrunner station 45 minutes early because we didn't know what time the train came so we had a little lunch while we waited. We got a few funny looks from people.

Everyone loved the train ride.

Sweet Cannon!

I snapped this picture of Conlie. She was so tired and didn't want to smile at the camera. Now I'm glad she didn't because I just love this sweet face.

Chon's not afraid of a little water.

A little Father and Son water fight.

Chon took Conlie just to the edge of the fountains but she wasn't too fond of getting sprayed. She was having issues because she didn't have a swim suit on.

Cambrie opted out of the water fun and decided to just be a sun goddess instead.

After the water fun, we stopped for a "Snowie" break. I think this was the highlight of the day.

Even Cannon got a little taste of a snowcone. This was his reaction.
